R2D Villejean Campus
The Rennes2D virtual world of L'Espace des Langues enriches the learning experience beyond the physical confines of the classroom by offering an online 2D platform dedicated to language study and research. Accessible to all, beyond university hours, RENNES2D extends teaching time by offering a resource space open to students and teachers. Video conferencing rooms, libraries of educational resources, informal meeting spaces and learning games are just a few examples of what you can find in this virtual environment.
Designed on the WorkAdventu.re platform and modelled in 3D, this virtual world, which complies with open source standards and the RGPD, offers an immersive learning and collaboration experience while protecting users' personal data. Explore an interactive space where you can interact with other learners to improve your language skills, while discovering a faithful representation of the Villejean campus of Rennes 2 University and the Beaulieu campus of Rennes University, in a fun environment.
A playful testing ground for research
The Virtual World of L'Espace des Langues also serves as a laboratory for the study of interactions in the field of language didactics. It hosts research projects such as a thesis funded by the ANR via the AIR project and another funded by the ELICCE doctoral school.
